We are incredibly excited to have opened a small second location within a larger store called HOSTcraft in Old Town Albuquerque. This sustainably-focused home goods shop owned by Amberley Pyles is a candle lab, gift shop, and refill store all in one!

HOSTcraft makes the statement that sustainability doesn’t have to be boring! You’ll find thoughtfully curated household items that are not only beautiful, but also built to last. Alongside those items, you’ll find our refillable vanity and skincare sets! Looking for a host gift, or regularly hosting guests yourself? HOSTcraft is your ONE stop shop.

While we work closely with HOSTcraft and are frequently there restocking VR inventory, this location is run by HOSTcraft staff, not by The Village Refillery. Please read below to note several important differences about this location.

While we may one day bring the full refill model to Old Town, currently there are a few key differences from our flagship location:

Select Product Refills

Unlike our Corrales location, our Old Town spot is not a full refillery. Thus, we do not currently offer household cleaners or haircare in Old Town.

You will find the below made-in-house products both in prefilled bottles and on tap:

  • Castile soap

  • Body lotion

  • Facial Oil

  • Face Cream

  • Botanical Room Mists

To fill from our bulk dispensers, you must bring in a Village Refillery branded bottle and fill it with the same product that bottle originally contained. Your jar or bottle will be filled at the volume listed on the label by HOSTcraft staff.

Gift Cards & Promotions

To give or redeem a VR gift card, please visit our Corrales location or our online store. VR gift cards are not valid for use at our Old Town location.

We offer monthly promotions and occasional discounts that are available to our VR Insiders only. To receive these promos, please join our Insiders Club!

While HOSTcraft may offer their own deals and promos, our Insider promotions are only valid at our Corrales location.

Container Specifications

In Corrales, you may bring any clean container to fill with our bulk products. In Old Town, refills must be in an original VR-labeled bottle or container purchased prefilled at either location.

Be sure to clean your bottles! We strongly discourage topping off not-yet empty bottles or filling into containers that have not been thoroughly cleaned and dried. Otherwise, contamination and early spoilage of new product can occur.

HOSTcraft Candles in Corrales

We are thrilled to offer HOSTcraft candles in our Corrales shop. These candles are handmade in Old Town using clean fragrances and sustainable waxes. They look and smell amazing, but the best part? They’re refillable AND are 25% off when you reuse your vessel!

To refill, drop your used candle vessels to us and we’ll call you when they’re ready!
