What is Castile soap? Originating in the 11th century from Castile, Spain, Castile soap was traditionally made using just olive oil, water, & lye. The innovation was notable for its gentle, moisturizing properties compared to animal fat soaps of the time. Castile soap’s enduring appeal lies in its sustainable, plant-based ingredients, its gentle yet effective cleansing abilities, & its time-honored methods of production.

Local bulk orders for pick up/delivery will be packaged in glass growlers that we ask you return to us when empty. You will not be charged for these growlers unless you do not return them (we can coordinate pick up from you if you live locally).
Bulk orders that must be shipped are packaged in reused plastic jugs (donated containers or containers we received bulk inventory in from other brands). These containers have been sanitized and then filled with our product for lighter and less expensive shipping.
